How to prepare home made pizza

Making pizza is a fun and rewarding process. Here's a basic recipe to get you started:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups of warm water
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
- 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded or sliced)
- Toppings of your choice (e.g., pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions)

Instructions:

1. Make the dough: Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
2. Knead the dough: Knead for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
3. Let it rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
4. Shape the dough: Punch down dough and shape into a circle or rectangle.
5. Add toppings:Spread pizza sauce, add cheese and toppings.
6. Bake:Preheat oven to 425-450°F (220-230°C). Bake for 12-15 minutes.
